Compak sporting
Mr Jean François Palinkas, the then FITASC Technical Manager, then proposed a new discipline: that he himself has created called Compak® sporting, and FITASC adopted this discipline in 1991. It consists of using typical Sporting targets on traditional shooting layouts (Trench and Skeet) coupled with controlled distances and trajectories.
This discipline was an immediate success on five continents and enabled FITASC to organize European championships from 1995, and World championships which started in 2004.
